ASPECT (Autism Spectrum Australia)
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is Australia’s leading service provider for autism and other disabilities. Our specialised, evidence informed schools program is the largest in the world, with additional services that include information and advice, diagnostic assessments, behaviour support, parent and family support, and adult programs.
We share evidence-informed Aspect practice and applied research nationwide.
‘Offers a specialized evidence-based education program for children with an autism spectrum disorder, operating as structured learning environments supported by a strong network of specialist services, through eight independent schools, satellite classes and an outreach team.
A [primary or secondary] satellite class is managed by an Aspect School but located in either a NSW Department of Education & Communities or a Catholic mainstream school, developed for individual students who may benefit from this type of transitional model.’
